YouTube makes superstars. Various people have found success on the video streaming website. And believe it or not, you can too. Last week, we went over how to master some YouTube tricks. However, we are not done yet. Here are a few more that will keep your customers on your page and want more.

These tips are useful for viewers and creators. So, if you are just browsing through YouTube or want to know how to get people to watch, then pay attention.

Using YouTube’s Library of Music –  Sound effects, background music, you name it. YouTube has it all for you and for free. Their library is pretty extensive as well. There are different categories, which helps you find whatever sound you are looking for. This is a prime option for people who want to add royalty-free music to their videos without encountering any problems or spending money.

Custom URL – Now this feature is pretty great, but you need to establish yourself first in order to obtain it. If you have over 100 subscribers who follow your page, then you should be good. Essentially, YouTube will give you a URL with their web address and whatever you want at the end of it. This custom URL is great to share on your social media channels and website, sending people directly to your page. However, we suggest that you use your brand, user name, or page name. Once it is set, it can never be changed.

Choose Your Ads – If you are looking to monetize your YouTube channel, advertising is the best way. However, you should choose your ads wisely. Once YouTube allows you to monetize your own content, you’ll be given the option to choose which ads are allowed on your latest uploads. There are six types of ad formats: display, overlay, skippable video, non-skippable video, bumper, and sponsored. We suggest sticking with display, skippable, non-skippable, and bumper. Even then, check their ad formats and see which one is best for your audience.
